Privacy policy
Keep Smash is a game. We built it to collect as little as possible: there are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no in-app purchases, and we do not collect your name, email, location, contacts or any other personal information.
What stays on your device
The game saves its settings and your progress (sound and music on or off, the game mode you last picked, your race medals and difficulty levels, whether you finished the tutorial) on your device, or in your browser if you play on the web. This never leaves your device, and uninstalling the game or clearing your browser's site data deletes it.
Online play
If you choose ONLINE, the game connects to our game server so you can play another person. The server pairs the two players by a 4-digit room code and passes the game's moves between them while the match lasts. It does not store the moves, and it does not know who you are. Like any internet connection, it sees your device's IP address while you are connected; the hosting company that runs the server (Render) may keep short-lived technical logs that include it, under its own privacy policy. We do not use IP addresses to identify, track or contact anyone. The other player only receives your moves and the race you picked.
If you never tap ONLINE, the game makes no internet connection at all (apart from downloading it).
Where you get the game
The store or website you get Keep Smash from (Google Play, itch.io) may collect information under its own privacy policy, for example for downloads and crash reports. We do not receive personal information from them about you.
Children
Keep Smash does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If the game ever starts collecting more, we will update this page first and change the date above.
